Brutalistic Beauty
The university campus in Regensburg has been part of my family’s history for three generations. Just a 15-minute walk from our home, its brutalist architecture has sparked debate among students, faculty, and locals for decades. My connection to the campus began in childhood and deepened during my two years of study there. My appreciation for its architecture and interior design grew as my passion for photography developed, turning my visits into a cherished ritual whenever I’m home. Through this personal project, I explore the campus’s striking structures and tranquil spaces, capturing its distinctive atmosphere through countless walks and moments of nighttime solitude.
