Entryways: A Berlin Typology

Welcome to one of my current and still ongoing series! This project is a typology of house entries in Berlin, capturing the unique character of each entrance from numbers 1 to 100. In this series, I explore how house entrances serve as both physical barriers and symbolic boundaries between public and private spaces. Each entrance not only represents the shift from shared areas to personal ones, but also reflects the diverse identities and stories of the individuals behind them. By capturing the different styles of Berlin's architecture, I want to show how these everyday objects reveal the connection between privacy and public life in the city.
